After completing medical school at the Flinders University of South Australia, I underwent internship and residency in Emergency Medicine through Case Western Reserve University/Metrohealth Medical Center/Cleveland Clinic. While there, I worked for several years as a Metrohealth Life Flight Flight Physician, caring for critically ill and trauma patients in a helicopter EMS system. I am currently working in emergency medicine outside Boston, MA and in emergency medical services as a medical director. I am Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in both Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. I have lectured both locally, regionally and nationally on emergency medicine, prehospital care and my experiences in mass casualty incidents. In 2013, I was awarded the prestigious Metro Boston Emergency Medical Services Physician of the Year for my work in EMS.
More importantly, I'm the dad of Two Cute Kids!
